Dumpster Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Rental Period

The standard rental period shall be 3, 5, or 7 days from the date of delivery, as selected by the Customer. Additional rental time will be billed at a rate of $50 per day unless otherwise agreed in writing. Additional days must be scheduled at the time of ordering.

2. Payment Terms

Full payment is due at the time of delivery. Customer agrees that any additional charges, including but not limited to overage fees, damages, or trip charges, will be billed and are due upon receipt.

3. Weight Limit & Overage Charges

Each dumpster rental includes a weight limit of 2 tons. Any weight exceeding this limit will be charged at a rate of $75 per additional ton.

4. Acceptable & Prohibited Materials

Customer agrees to only dispose of non-hazardous solid waste. The following materials are strictly prohibited:

• Hazardous waste, chemicals, or liquids
• Paints, solvents, and oils
• Asbestos-containing materials
• Tires and batteries
• Propane tanks or pressurized containers

Heavy materials such as concrete, dirt, brick, and roofing shingles may require special pricing and must be disclosed prior to delivery.

5. Load Level Requirement

All materials must be loaded evenly and must not exceed the top edge (rim) of the dumpster. Overfilled or improperly loaded dumpsters may be refused for pickup and subject to additional charges.

6. Placement & Site Conditions

Customer is responsible for providing a safe, accessible location for delivery and pickup. This includes:

• Clear access free of vehicles, debris, or obstacles
• Adequate space and overhead clearance

Cusumano Home Improvements LLC is not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns, or surfaces due to the weight of the dumpster or normal delivery conditions.

7. Permits & Regulations

Customer is responsible for obtaining any required permits if the dumpster is to be placed on a public street or right-of-way and must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.

8. Damage & Liability

Customer assumes full responsibility for any damage to the dumpster beyond normal wear and tear. Customer also assumes liability for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from use or misuse of the dumpster while on site.

9. Unauthorized Relocation

Dumpster placement is final upon delivery. Customer shall not move or attempt to move the dumpster. Unauthorized relocation may result in additional charges and/or liability for damages.

10. Trip Charges / Dry Runs

If delivery or pickup cannot be completed due to blocked access, unsafe conditions, or customer fault, a trip charge of $75 will apply.

11. Weather & Ground Conditions

Cusumano Home Improvements LLC is not responsible for damage caused by soft ground, sinking, weather conditions, or surface failure during the rental period.

12. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee of $75.

13. Responsibility for Contents

Customer is responsible for all materials placed in the dumpster, including materials disposed of by third parties.

14. Early Pickup / Swap Requests

Customer must provide a minimum of 24 hours notice for early pickup or dumpster swap requests. Additional fees may apply.

15. Refusal of Service

Cusumano Home Improvements LLC reserves the right to refuse service or pickup of any dumpster that is:

• Overloaded
• Contains prohibited materials
• Deemed unsafe to transport
